About St Augustine's

St. Augustine's is a Church of England church, here to serve the people of Cheadle Heath and part of Edgeley. We moved out of our old building in January 2006 and now meet regularly at St. John's Methodist Church, Cheadle Heath on the corner of Stockport Road and Myrtle Street.

As yet we don't know the future of our old building or site - it's going through the official process of closing down. Your comments or questions are always welcome: Use the contact us page.

As the people of St. Augustine's, we hope to offer a place where anyone and everyone is welcomed and accepted. A place where people can be themselves, ask questions and find out more about the God who cares deeply for each of us - body, mind and spirit. God offers us healing, peace and meaning, so becoming more fully human.
